In the site of an old Dairy Queen, a husband-and-wife team brings slow smoked barbecue to East Boston; dry-rubbed baby back ribs, pulled pork and brisket are the specialties, but neighborhood demand also keeps a lot of chicken on the low fire; side dishes range from the ubiquitous baked beans and fries to a sweetish Asian slaw topped with peanuts (Mrs. Pete is from Thailand); add cheap prices for draft beer and cue hounds form west of the tunnel are on the trail.
